My Jewel Dukaan collects necessary information to provide secure inventory management, delivery tracking, and
attendance services. This includes:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and gender for account creation.
- Location Data (Foreground & Background): We collect precise GPS location data to track
delivery routes, confirm stops, and share real-time progress with dispatchers. Background location is
strictly collected ONLY when an active delivery shift is ongoing.
- Camera & Photos: Accessed solely for scanning shop QR codes and capturing or uploading
product images for inventory listings.
- Biometric (Face) Data: Used exclusively for secure staff attendance verification via facial
recognition.
2. Background Location Tracking
To facilitate seamless operations, My Jewel Dukaan requires background location access.
- Active Shifts Only: Tracking begins only when you explicitly start a delivery shift and
stops immediately when the shift ends.
- Purpose: It allows dispatchers to monitor fleet visibility, triggers automatic arrival
proofs, and sends route deviation alerts.
- Data Sharing: Location data is shared only with internal company dispatchers. It is NEVER
sold or shared with external third parties for advertising or other purposes.
3. Camera and Photo Library
We request access to your device camera and photo library for operational efficiency.
- Usage: You can take photos of new jewelry products or upload existing images from your
gallery to create/update inventory listings. The camera is also used to quickly scan QR codes to access shop
profiles.
- Privacy: We do not access your camera or photo library in the background. Access is
strictly limited to moments when you explicitly initiate a scan or photo upload.
4. Biometric Privacy (Face Data)
My Jewel Dukaan uses face verification for staff attendance.
- Consent & Usage: Your face data is enrolled with your explicit consent and used strictly to
verify your identity during clock-ins/outs.
- Storage & Security: Face templates are securely encrypted. We do not store raw images, only
mathematical representations.
- Data Retention: This data is securely retained as long as you are actively employed and
will be permanently deleted upon account termination or at your request.
5. Data Security & Storage
We implement rigorous, industry-standard security measures, including:
- End-to-end encryption for all sensitive data transmissions.
- Secure cloud infrastructure with restricted access controls.
- Regular security audits to prevent data breaches.
6. User Rights & Data Deletion
You retain control over your personal data.
- Access & Update: You may update your profile information within the app.
- Deletion Request: You can request the permanent deletion of your account, biometric data,
and personal information by contacting your organization administration or our support team.
